What 7,600 adults told us

We asked. In our anonymous online skin quiz, 74% of U.S. respondents said their bruises show up mainly on the forearms and backs of the hands, and nearly half said there is "always at least one" bruise somewhere. Almost 1 in 6 said some bruises never fully fade and leave brownish stains. Read the full Fragile Skin Report 2027, with methods and a free data download.

Why this site exists

Reunoa makes a serum for fragile, bruise-prone skin. Our customers kept asking the same questions — Is this normal? Is it my blood thinner? Why won't this mark go away? — and the answers online were scattered, scary or selling something without saying so.

So we built this library. We write in plain English, cite published research and trusted health sources (PubMed, MedlinePlus, the NHS), and say clearly when we mention our own product. We never tell anyone to change a prescribed medicine. Read our editorial policy and meet our editor, Margaret Hale.
